Damilare Odunlade

Damilare Odunlade is an Animator, Writer, Coach, Actor, Director, and Cultural Aficionado, is a graduate of the Dramatic Arts Department of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he studied children’s theatre for his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, correspondingly. He has mounted productions at the National plane and International echelon with ECOWAS (GIABA), the Canadian consulate, and the Solution Media just to mention a few.

Having performed in a variety of theatrical performances with companies like Awo Varsity Theatre, and Dance Arts among others; and participated in corporate film productions with BSN Art Institute of Remdel Optimum Communications, Nigeria; He founded Da Eagles’ World International and the first full-term Children’s Arts Academy in Africa, in 2011. The organization became a platform for him not only to write and tour his work, written extensively for children, but also to provide opportunities for talented children from humble backgrounds.

He pools his artistic activities with pedagogic occupation and has worked for scores of schools, children, and teens theatre companies, and churches within and without Nigeria. He has been able to coach children in their thousands for over a decade forthwith.
